Summer Basketball Shootout
The GaREAT Summer Basketball Shootout will give Boys and Girls Varsity, JV and Junior High teams an opportunity to play in a structured game setting this summer.
This one-day event will be played on Saturday, June 19, 2010. Each team will be guaranteed four games to ensure a variety of opponents. Teams should be prepared to play as early as 8:00am.
The Summer Basketball Shootout will be played on our Multisport Court Surface, which can accommodate six regulation courts.
Game Length
- Four game guarantee
- Two 18-minute halves
- Continuous clock except during the last minute of each half.
- If a game is tied at the end of regulation, a two minute overtime period will follow.
- Any second overtime period, if needed, will be sudden death.
- Each team will be given two timeouts per game plus one additional timeout per overtime period.

- Boys Varsity
- Girls Varsity
- Boys Junior Varsity
- Girls Junior Varsity
- Boys Junior High (6-8th grades)
- Girls Junior High (6-8th grades)
Registration Fee
- $300 per team
- Referee fees included
- All teams must complete the Team Registration Form to participates.
Once registrations have been finalized, teams will be selected to play each other based on competitive skill levels. Divisions may be combined if necessary.
