The Junior Academy is unique in its ability to offer the local soccer community the combination of a world class facility and professional soccer expertise. The Junior Academy program will provide players with opportunities to learn about, play, and most importantly enjoy the game of soccer. The Junior Academy program is open to players of all abilities.
The Junior Academy provides professional training with dedicated coaches at a
world-class facility. All for a price that is comparable to most recreational leagues!
Program Details
The Junior Academy is for the emerging youth soccer player who is looking for more than what the local recreation program has to offer...and especially for those players looking to make the transition from their recreational to travel programs.
Program Features
| Professional Staff | The staff will include professional, dedicated coaches that have obtained NSCAA and USSF national coaching licenses. |
| World Class Facility | The combination of the best synthetic soccer surface, pre-lined regulation fields, no dasher boards and a climate controlled building creates the perfect training and playing soccer facility available today. |
| Age Appropriate Training | All training sessions will be designed to teach skills that are relevant to each players age and ability. The main focus will be on the technical aspects of the game - dribbling, finishing on goal, passing and receiving. |
| Exciting Training Sessions | All sessions will have lots of player movement in a fun and challenging atmosphere. Sessions will not consist of players doing boring drills and standing in lines. |
| Small Sided Games (3v3 through 7v7) |
The use of small sided games maximizes the number of opportunities to apply skill during a game. It allows for more individual teaching time, more playing time, and most importantly, more opportunities to score! |
| USSF Recommended Field Sizes | Having appropriate field sizes is very important to maximize player involvement and enjoyment of games. Fields that are too big will result in players standing around and not being involved. Fields that are too small will result in the "bee-hive" effect, therefore not providing the necessary space for success. We will have appropriate field sizes that are recommended by the United States Soccer Federation. |
| Player Creativity | We will allow player to creatively express themselves through the game of soccer. Players will be encouraged to take risks and develop their own style of play. |
| Training Equipment | As important as coaching and the facility, having quality training equipment is a must for proper player development. We will have quality training balls, appropriate size goals and other equipment that will help foster the development of each player. |
Additional Practices
For those interested in more training, we will be offering four additional practices every other week at a cost of $25.
